Inspired by the rolling beauty of the Three Counties, Winthill Engineering is proud to introduce The Malvern Collection – unique pieces of bespoke metalwork created specially for RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2026.
Embracing the festival’s theme of ‘Roots of the Future,’ we fused the ancient natural world with vibrant and contemporary silhouettes to create a RHS 3 Star Tradestand Award 2026 display.
From the ethereal curves of The Reverie to the structural weight of The Sarsen, these pieces combine precision engineering, traditional craftsmanship and forward-thinking garden design.

The Reverie – Moon Gate with Swing
Product Description: A bespoke moon gate (garden arch) created from mild steel, laser cut with a random pattern of bees, honeycomb and wildflowers. Inside, a 2-seater wooden swing adds another dimension to this statement garden feature.
Inspiration: In harmony with the RHS Malvern theme, ‘Roots of the Future’, The Reverie responds to our deep-rooted love of nature – the hum of bees, the scent of cottage garden flowers, and the simple desire for a quiet moment, whether alone or with a loved one.
Its circular silhouette frames the landscape. As you swing back and forth, you can feel the light breeze pass over your face; separated from the outside world, even just momentarily, it’s a sanctuary to contemplate, share stories and be revived.
Crafted from galvanised mild steel for longevity, The Reverie moon gate amplifies the landscape, shifting your perspective with each passing season.

The Duir – Oak-Inspired Corten Steel Seat
Product Description: Corten steel has been curved and laser cut into the style of an oak tree. A squirrel ‘sits’ on a robust piece of oak which has been machined and hand finished to provide seating, nestled into the curve of the backrest.
Inspiration: Our bespoke tree seat combines the heritage, power and folklore of the oak and ancient woodlands with the modern benefits of community, connectivity and inclusion.
Named for the ancient Celtic word for Oak – and the root of our word for door – The Duir is private yet open, a seat to share thoughts, feelings and experiences.
The curved, weathering steel is laser cut with an intricate oak motif that envelops the sitter, offering a sense of safety and sanctity.
In keeping with the ‘Roots of the Future’ theme, The Duir honours the magnificence and endurance of the English oak tree, acknowledges the present – through materials and technology, and looks towards the horizon (the future).
