Peony (and herbaceous) supports

A Winthill classic – our plant supports protect peonies and other herbaceous plants from the ravages of harsh weather, ensuring they stand tall and proud. Formed from durable metal rings to create a cage, our plant supports offer robust reinforcement for big, showy blooms. The peony supports are easy to install, with no complicated assembly. They provide a subtle elegance, enhancing the beauty of the plants while seamlessly integrating into the garden landscape.

Hoops and semi-circular supports

Our semi-circular supports and border hoops are a gardening staple and are very popular with our garden and landscape clients. The supports are typically crafted from raw steel and are left to weather, allowing them to blend away into the border. They are the perfect accessory for an abundant border or vegetable patch and can even be used to keep paths and lawns clear of flopping foliage! For a particularly lively cluster, lash two semi-circles together to form a supportive circle.

Garden stakes

Our garden stakes come in all shapes and sizes. Tall stakes, slim stakes, ball-top stakes, wrap-around stakes, fruit-bough stakes…we can craft a quantity of garden stakes to suit your style and requirements.

Individual stakes are capped with a ball or similar design feature, for safety. They are robust enough for any soil and can be used to support individual stems or boughs. Practical and classically simple, our garden stakes will keep your garden looking its best.

Planters and troughs

We manufacture steel planters, troughs and raised beds to order. They are made to suit your needs – any length, height and width, and square, rectangular or circular shape, with optional base, drainage holes and feet.

Our planters and troughs are fabricated using raw mild steel. Often, they are left unfinished which overtime produces a wonderful, rusted patina.

Tree Guard

To protect young trees from extreme weather and curious wildlife we offer a robust tree guard. Made from welded mild steel, the guard comes in two halves and is secured around the tree using bolts.

A typical tree guard is formed from stakes capped with balls and belts. The stakes are driven into the ground for stability. Contact us if you have a specific design in mind.

Edging rings and edging strips

Achieve a professional edge to your border, lawn, paths or driveway with our edging strips and edging rings. Easy to install, the edging is made from raw stainless and is available in a variety of sizes. It is easy to bend to create flowing curves while angles are made to your exact specification.

Strong and durable the stainless steel edging will withstand vehicle and pedestrian traffic. It is available in a variety of lengths and thicknesses.
