This year marks 20 years since the launch of Bamford’s signature fragrance, Geranium. The luxury lifestyle brand celebrated with a return to RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025.
The main structure is crafted from storm-damaged oak trees, hand-crafted by a local carpenter into a sturdy frame. The shingle wall is inspired by artist Wycliffe Stutchbury, and the stools are handmade from one of Bamford’s fallen sycamore trees. Underfoot, the floors and pathways are laid with natural British stone.
The space is designed by Bamford’s in-house architects and garden designer, Tommaso del Buono, and captures the essence of an English country garden. It is filled with scented geraniums and pelargoniums from Carole Bamford’s personal collection.

Bamford Branding
Being a trade stand brand recognition is crucial. For this, the design team required signage consistent with the Bamford brand, providing superior visual impact. As a preferred supplier, Winthill Engineering was tasked with creating the bespoke metal sign.
Winthill crafted the Bamford logo from 25mm laser cut mild steel. To achieve an exceptional finish, the fabrication team spent time fettling and finishing the steel, by hand. A hidden fixing detail in the base secures it to the structure.
Powder coated in a bespoke RAL colour, the sign pops against the natural tones of the oak frame and attracts attention – reinforcing the Bamford brand to many thousands of visitors to this highly prestigious and internationally-acclaimed horticultural event.
Bespoke hooks
Organisation is key to maintaining a professional trade stand, especially one with such high design sensibilities. For Bamford, practical storage had to balance with the stand’s aesthetic. One simple solution was a set of bespoke wall hooks fabricated and finished by Winthill in the same bespoke RAL colour as the signage. The hooks were used to store and display fabric and paper gift bags.

Award-winning Tradestand
Bamford was presented with a 5 Star Tradestand Award by The Royal Horticultural Society and named a RHS Sustainable Business of the Year Finalist 2025.
Commenting on the collaboration with Bamford, Winthill’s Engineering Director, Tom Blakeman, said:
It’s a pleasure to support a brand that shares our passion for craftsmanship, sustainability, and considered design – and to see our bespoke metal sign featured in such an iconic setting!
Congratulations to the entire team for such an outstanding contribution to this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
